Birmingham a Place you should never miss

Birmingham is the second largest city in England. It has a hoary and fascinating history. It played a leading role in the Industrial Revolution of England. It had the distinction of being referred to as the ‘workshop’ of the world due to its many industries. It developed canal and rail links with London and the rest of England, was one of the busiest trade centres of the land. It bore the brunt of the Second World War but in the following decades reconstructed many of the buildings, plazas and places of interest that had been ruined by bombing. Today it is a heady mixture of industry, business, educational and even recreational centres.

The culture of the land could be learnt from the way it preserves the heritage of the past to be transmitted to the future. Museums are the best ways in this process of transmission.
