The capital city of Czech Republic is also one of the oldest cities in Europe. It was for a while capital to Holy Roman Empire as well. The city is sometimes referred to as ‘Golden City’ and some parts of the city are declared as World Heritage sites. It is one of the most popular holiday resorts as well, indicated by the fact that more than 4 million people visit it every year.  Situated on the banks of the River Vltava, the city has many tourist attractions.

Zbraslav Castle has great Asian Collections while Czech National Gallery is the more conventional centre where one can pick up a great deal about the evolution of mankind. There are more twenty great museums including one for military sector, exclusively for classical music, modern music and diverse cultural fields! Apart from many cultural events in the respective fields of fine arts, there are also many trade fairs and commercial gatherings inducing European trading community to utilize the opportunities.

On food front, there is more stress on lunch than on dinner in Prague. Amazing varieties of food can be had during lunch time and if one picks and chooses, the place will be understood as food lover’s paradise. Fast food is also available, though one has to  carefully go about finding them.
