Valencia—versatility in recreation

A charming and flourishing city in Spain, Valencia is a delight to the tourists. It has many attractions to please the visitors. As a place steeped in history it offers many insights into European history but its equally modern complexion attracts tourists from all over Europe and the rest of the world.

Though the Botanical Gardens have its roots in medieval times, the present form largely exists from the beginning of the 19th century. Nearly 4,000 species of trees have been added and the meticulous preservation and propagation of nature’s treasures have enhanced the instructive role of the park. In contrast you have Mont forte Gardens full of neo-classical features, delighting the tourist with contrasting natural settings! The Royal Nursery Gardens and River Turia old gardens are also places which must be visited by the tourist. Maritime Museum and Museum of the Patriarch are other useful places to be seen.

The 112 km coastal area in Valencia is remarkable for outdoor and maritime sports. People enjoy with various games and activities besides routine hiking and swimming. There are plenty of amusement parks and recreational activities to sooth the mind from the year-long work activity.
